Assignments for Thursday, May 21, 2020

Reminders:
- Tomorrow Friday, May 22nd Online Learning will end at 12 Noon as all teachers have a Faculty Meeting.  Our Zoom Meeting will be at 11:00am instead of 3pm for tomorrow only.

- Monday, May 25th we will not have Online Learning in observance of Memorial Day. 


Religion:  Children will understand why God wants us to work our hardest.

- Read Aloud: "Hard-Working Turtles"

- Discussion: 

- Why is it hard for a baby turtle to make it to the ocean?
- Have you ever felt like giving up?
- Why does God want us to work our hardest?
Activity: Tell a story of a time you had to work your hardest and didn't give up just like the baby turtles.


Sight Words: Review words "said," "see," "the."



Reading: Children will listen and respond to the story, "The Tortoise and the Hare," by Janet Stevens.
