Religion: Children will understand how to be thankful for the blessings in their lives. Children will create Mother's Day cards to show their Moms how thankful they are for loving and caring for them.

- Activity: Ask your Dad or another family member to help you make a beautiful Mother's Day card to show your Mom how much you love her and are thankful for her. What are some things you are thankful for?

Sight Words: Review the word "said." Have your child read the word and add it to your set of word cards. Have your child use it in a sentence. If your child is able to identify the word independently you can begin to encourage them to dictate and write a simple sentence.
