Vocabulary:
grow - to become larger by natural development; increase.
animals - one of a large group of living things that can move around by themselves to find food. Birds, reptiles, fish, amphibians, mammals, insects, snails, and worms are some of the major kinds of animals.
Activity: Draw a picture of a living thing that grows and changes.

Phonics: Children will learn to identify uppercase and lowercase Tt. Children will identify letter sound /t/.

Activity: Tell your Mom or Dad a list of words that begin with the sound /t/. Then create an uppercase T and turn it into one of the words you listed. For example: T is for ________.
Sight Words: Introduce the word "play." Have your child read the word and add it to your set of word cards. Have your child use it in a sentence. If your child is able to independently identify the word "play" you can begin to encourage them dictate and write a simple sentence. For example: I can play with my toy. I like to play with my Mom. We will play with the ball.
Math: Children will act out "take from with result unknown" story problems to solve.
Discussion: Explain to your child that taking away represents what we call subtraction. Have them create their own story about taking away with objects around them.
