News of the Week
- Tuesday, Nov. 8th is Picture Make-Up Day. If your child missed out on individual Picture Day you can have a retake on Tuesday.
- Thursday, Nov. 10th School Closed - Teacher Conference Day.
- Friday, Nov. 11th School Closed - Veteran's Day.
- I want to inform you to please remember to take home the sleeping mats every Friday for washing and always remember to return them on Monday's.
- Gym uniform is to be worn on Friday's.
This week the children will be learning the following:
Religion: Children will learn about God's gift of our families.
Reading: Children will listen and respond to the story "The Three Bears."
Phonics: Children will identify uppercase and lowercase Dd.
Phonemic Awareness: Children will identify beginning sound /d/.
Math: Children will identify 3D shapes.
Science: Children will learn about different forms of weather. Children will participate in an experiment creating clouds in a bottle.
Sight Words (4yr. old Group): Children will learn to read and write the sight word "can."
Review: 4yr. old children should be reviewing the following sight words everyday at home: a, and, away, big, blue.
