News of the Week
- Wednesday, Nov. 23rd After-School Program will close at 5:00pm.
- Wednesday, Nov. 23rd we will have a Thanksgiving Day Party for the children if you can please donate $5. for pizza and other treats I will greatly appreciate it.
- Gym uniform is to be worn on Friday's.
This week the children will be learning the following:
Religion: Children will learn about the importance of Thanksgiving Day and giving thanks to God.
Reading: Children will listen and respond to the story "The Three Bears."
Phonics: Children will identify uppercase and lowercase Ee and Ff.
Phonemic Awareness: Children will identify beginning sounds /e/ and /f/
Math: Children will identify 3D shapes and build a model.
Social Studies: Children will learn about the first Thanksgiving feast.
Sight Words (4yr. old Group): Children will learn to read and write the sight word "come."
Review: 4yr. old children should be reviewing the following sight words everyday at home: a, and, away, big, blue, can.
