News of the Week
- Please make sure your child has received their flu shot. If your child does not have a flu shot they will not be able to return to school after the Christmas Recess.
- Tuesday, Dec. 20th CRISTMAS UGLY SWEATER DAY! CLASS CONTEST!
- Wednesday, Dec. 21st we will have Lessons and Carols in the Church at 10am. Children are to wear dress up clothes and wear something red or green. No jeans and no sneakers please. Parents welcome.
- Wednesday, Dec. 21st we will have our class Christmas party if you can please donate $5. for our festivities I will greatly appreciate it.
I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Blessed Healthy New Year!
This week the children will be learning the following:
Religion: Children will continue to learn about Christmas.
Reading: Children will listen and respond to the story "The Gingerbread Man." and "The Gingerbread Girl."
Math: Children will identify number 8. Children will decompose and compose 6 and 7.
Sight Words (4yr. old Group): Children will learn to read and write the sight word "funny"
Review: 4yr. old children should be reviewing the following sight words everyday at home: a, and, away, big, blue, can, come, down, find, for.
