News of the Week
- Please remember to email me your child's negative Covid Test to return to school tomorrow Monday, May 16th.
- Friday, May 20th Early Dismissal 12 Noon. Faculty Meeting.
- Friday, May 20th we will attend the Reconciliation Mass at 10:00am, children are allowed to wear dress up clothes to school, NO JEANS!
- School Closed Thursday, May 26th, Friday, May 27th and Monday May 30th.
- Please remember to bring sleeping mats back to school.
This week the children will be learning the following:
Reading - Children will listen and respond to the book "The Tug of War."
Phonics - Children will identify uppercase and lowercase letter Vv.
Phonemic Awareness / Phonics - Children will identify letter sound /v/.
Religion - Children will listen and respond to various Bible stories.
Math - Children will draw pictures to show a subtraction sentence.
Science - Children will discover how water goes up a plant through its stem. Children will plant flower seeds.
Sight Words (4yr. old Group) - Children will read and write the words "said" and "see."
The 4yr. old group should be reviewing the following words:
Sight Words: a, and, away, big, can, come, down, find, for, funny, go, help, here, in, is, it, jump, little, look, make, me, my, not, play, run, said, see
Number Words: one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, zero.
