News of the Week

This Week Children will be learning the following:
- Religion: Children will continue to learn about God's gift of animals.
- Phonemic Awareness: Children will identify words with beginning sounds /i/, /j/ and /k/.
- Phonics: Children will identify uppercase and lowercase letters Ii, Jj and Kk.
- Sight Words: Children will learn to identify and read the word "for" and "funny."
- Math: Children will identify numbers 6 and 7. Children will count to 7 in array configuration.
- Science: Children will understand how snow is formed.
Letters and letter sounds for Review for the 3 and 4 year old groups:
Aa, Bb, Cc, Dd, Ee, Ff, Gg, Hh, Ii, Jj, Kk
Sight Words for Review for the 4 year old Group:
a, and, away, big, can, come, down, find, for, funny
Color Words for Review for the 4 year old Group:
red, blue, yellow, green
