News of the Week 

- Tomorrow Early Dismissal 12 Noon - Faculty Meeting.

- Kindergarten registration is open for September and scholarships are available. Please see Ms. Alba for more information.  

This Week Children will be learning the following:

- Religion: Children will listen and respond to the Bible story of "Noah's Ark."  Children will learn about God's gift of people.

- Phonemic Awareness: Children will identify words with beginning sounds /i/, /j/ and /k/.

- Phonics: Children will identify uppercase and lowercase letters Ii, Jj and Kk.

- Sight Words: Children will learn to identify and read the word "for" and "funny."

- Math: Children will compose and decompose numbers 6 and 7. 

- Social Studies: Children will learn about the life of Martin Luther King Jr. 

Letters and letter sounds for Review for the 3 and 4 year old groups:

Aa, Bb, Cc, Dd, Ee, Ff, Gg, Hh, Ii, Jj, Kk

Sight Words for Review for the 4 year old Group:

a, and, away, big, can, come, down, find, for, funny

Color Words for Review for the 4 year old Group: 

red, blue, yellow, green
