News of the Week
- Friday, April 8th I will be having an Easter Party for the children if you can please donate $5. for pizza, juice, chips and other treats I will greatly appreciate it.
- Lenten donation boxes are due before Friday, April 8th.
- Easter Recess April 11th and school resumes April 25th.
- Please remember to bring sleeping mats back to school.
I want to wish everyone a Happy Easter!
This week the children will be learning the following:
Reading - Children will listen and respond to the book "The City Mouse and the Country Mouse."
Phonics - Children will identify uppercase and lowercase letters Qq and Rr.
Phonemic Awareness / Phonics - Children will identify letter sounds /kw/ and /r/.
Religion - Children will learn about the Easter story.
Math - Children will continue to act out and solve addition stories.
Science - Children will use different solutions to dye Easter eggs.
Sight Words (4yr. old Group) - Children will read and write the word "me."
The 4yr. old group should be reviewing the following words:
Sight Words: a, and, away, big, can, come, down, find, for, funny, go, help, here, in, is, it, jump, little, look, make, me.
Number Words: one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, zero.
