News of the Week

- Please remember to bring sleeping mats back to school.
This week the children will be learning the following:
Reading - Children will listen and respond to the book "The City Mouse and the Country Mouse."
Phonics - Children will identify uppercase and lowercase letter Nn.
Phonemic Awareness / Phonics - Children will identify letter sound /n/.
Religion - Children will learn about being kind and doing good deeds.
Math - Children will learn about numbers 11 and 12.
Social Studies - Children will continue to learn about community workers and create a self-portrait of what they want to be when they grow up.
Science - Children will learn about the three states of matter.
Sight Words (4yr. old Group) - Children will read and write the word "jump."
The 4yr. old group should be reviewing the following words:
Sight Words: a, and, away, big, can, come, down, find, for, funny, go, help, here, in, is, it, jump
Number Words: one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, zero.
