News of the Week
- As the weather will be getting warmer please make sure your child brings a water bottle to school everyday.
- Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held April 1st. Our Easter break will begin April 11th and school resumes April 25th.
- Please remember to bring sleeping mats back to school.
This week the children will be learning the following:
Reading - Children will listen and respond to the book "The City Mouse and the Country Mouse."
Phonics - Children will identify uppercase and lowercase letter Pp.
Phonemic Awareness / Phonics - Children will identify letter sound /p/.
Religion - Children will learn about forgiveness.
Math - Children will identify numbers 17 - 20. Children will begin to act out and solve addition stories.
Social Studies - Children will learn about different landforms.
Science - Children will continue to learn about the three states of matter.
Sight Words (4yr. old Group) - Children will read and write the word "look."
The 4yr. old group should be reviewing the following words:
Sight Words: a, and, away, big, can, come, down, find, for, funny, go, help, here, in, is, it, jump, little, look
Number Words: one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, zero.
