News of the Week
- December 18th we will participate in Lessons and Carols at the Church 8:30am children will sing a Christmas Carol. All children are to dress up and wear something red or green.
- December 20th Early Dismissal 12 Noon. Children will have their Christmas party and I am asking for $5. for pizza, juice and other treats.
This week the children will be learning the following:
Religion - Children will learn about the Advent season and Christmas.
Reading - Children will listen and respond to the story "The Shoemaker and the Elves."
Phonics - Children will identify uppercase and lowercase Gg.
Phonemic Awareness - Children will identify beginning sound /g/. Children will identify rhyming words.
Sight Words - Children will learn to identify and read the sight word "find."
Math - Children will identify numbers 6 and 7. Children will count objects to 7.
Science - Children will learn about different forms of weather. Children will create clouds in a bottle.
Social Studies - Children will identify family members and create a Christmas family tree.
