Week of 5/13/19 - 5/17/19

News of the Week  

- Tomorrow May 13th May Procession at 10:00am. Children are to bring rosary beads from home or you can purchase them in the supply room.

- Monday, May 20th Early Dismissal 12 Noon - Faculty Meeting

This Week Children will be learning the following:

- Religion: Children will understand that Jesus leads us. 

- Phonemic Awareness: Children will identify words with beginning sound /w/. 

- Phonics: Children will identify uppercase and lowercase letter Ww.
- Reading: Children will listen and respond to the story, "Peter and the Wolf."

- Sight Words: Children will learn to identify and read the words "see" and "the."

- Math: Children will begin to solve word problems by subtracting.
- Science: Children will understand how water travels through the plant.  
- Social Studies: Children will differentiate between goods and services.
