News of the Week
- We will be celebrating the 100th Day of School on Thursday, Feb. 21st. Activities will be coordinated by the 7th and 8th grades.
This Week Children will be learning the following:
- Religion: Children will understand why God wants us to be kind to all people.
- Phonemic Awareness: Children will identify words with beginning sound /o/.
- Phonics: Children will identify uppercase and lowercase letter Oo.
- Reading: Children will listen and respond to the story, "The City Mouse and the Country Mouse."
- Reading: Children will listen and respond to the story, "The City Mouse and the Country Mouse."
- Sight Words: Children will learn to identify and read the word "in."
- Math: Children will count to 9 in linear and array configurations.
- Science: Children will identify the states of matter.
- Social Studies: Children will learn the role of community helpers.
