News of the Week
- Congratulations to all our families for a fabulous first three days of school! Once again I welcome back all our families and give a warm welcome to our new families for joining our wonderful OLQM school family!
- On Friday I sent home the September calendar via your child's school bag.
- If you have registered your child in the After-School Program please let me know tomorrow morning.
- I want to inform you to please remember to take home the sleeping mats every Friday for washing and always remember to return them back on Monday's.
- Gym uniform is to be worn on Friday's.
This week the children will be learning the following:
Religion: Children will learn about making new friends and the new things they will be learning in Preschool.
Reading: Children will listen and respond to stories that describe what makes them unique and special.
Phonics: Children will learn the concept of letters.
Math: Children will learn about sorting.
Science: Children will learn about the meaning of science and the role of a scientist.
Sight Words (4yr. old Group): Children will learn to read and write the first sight word "a."
