- Reminder that dismissal is at 3:00pm. 

- I want to inform you to please remember to take home the sleeping mats every Friday for washing and always remember to return them back on Monday's.  

- Gym uniform is to be worn on Friday's. 

This week the children will be learning the following: 

Religion: Children will learn about God's creations.

Reading: Children will listen and respond to stories about the "Five Senses."

Phonics: Children will learn the concept of letters. 

Math: Children will learn about counting from 1 - 4. 

Science: Children will learn that good scientist observe and compare closely.

Social Studies: Children will understand there are consequences when we don't follow rules.

Sight Words (4yr. old Group): Children will learn to read and write the sight word "away."

 News of the Week

- Congratulations to all our families for a fabulous first three days of school!  Once again I welcome back all our families and give a warm welcome to our new families for joining our wonderful OLQM school family!

- On Friday I sent home the September calendar via your child's school bag. 

- If you have registered your child in the After-School Program please let me know tomorrow morning.

Parent Orientation

Thank you to all the parents for attending today it was great meeting our new families and seeing our returning families as well, I look forward to our first day tomorrow!  I have posted below the PPT we used at today's meeting in case anyone missed any information.  One more thing I forgot to mention at the meeting.  If your child is still not potty trained please let me know and remember to bring extra diapers or pull-ups. Also, I want to remind everyone that that arrival for tomorrow only will be at 8:30am. Thank you!
