4yr. old Group 

Handwriting - Write uppercase and lowercase Ee 5x's each in the notebook. 

Phonics - Draw and label a picture with beginning long or short vowel e. 

Reminders: 

- Our Christmas Break will begin after this Friday, December 17, 2021.  We will return to school on Monday, January 3, 2022.

- Tomorrow will be ugly Christmas Sweater Day Contest. Students are allowed to wear regular clothes to school and wear an ugly Christmas sweater.

- Dec. 17th will be our Christmas Lessons and Carols at 9am.  Children are to dress up and wear something red or green. 

- On Dec. 17th we will also have a class Christmas Party, if you can please donate $5. to buy McDonald's, cupcakes, juice and other treats I will greatly appreciate it.

Reading -  Children will listen and respond to the story "The Gingerbread Boy" and "The Gingerbread Girl." 

Phonemic Awareness / Phonics - Children will review letters Aa - Hh and letter sounds /a/ - /h/. 

Religion - Children will continue to learn about Christmas traditions and the Christmas story.

Math -  Children will learn different ways to show numbers 7 and 8.  Children will also learn to decompose and compose numbers 7 and 8.

Science - Children will learn about daylight and nighttime. 

Sight Words (4yr. old Group) - Children will review all sight words. 

The 4yr. old group should be reviewing the following words: 

Sight Words:  a, and, away, big, can, come, down, find

Number Words: one, two, three, four, five

Color Words: red, blue

Science - Children will begin to learn about different forms of weather and about daylight and nighttime. 

Social Studie - Children will understand and lean the reason behind every Christmas decoration. 

Sight Words (4yr. old Group) - Children will read and write the word "find."

The 4yr. old group should be reviewing the following words:
