This week the children will be learning the following:
Religion - Children will learn about how good friends are a gift from God.
Reading - Children will listen and respond to "Peter and the Wolf."
Phonemic Awareness - Children will learn letter sound /w/ and /xs/.
Phonics - Children will identify uppercase and lowercase Ww and Xx.
Math - Children will learn how to complete tally charts, pictographs and bar graphs.
Science - Children will plant flower seeds. Children will experiment with white carnations and food coloring to see how water travels up the flower stem.
