News of the Week
- Friday, April 23rd Early Dismissal 12 Noon for Parent/Teacher Conferences.
- Friday, April 23rd Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held from 1:00pm - 5:45pm. Please email me at msrodriguez@olqmnyc.org to set up a time we can meet through Zoom to discuss your child's progress.
- We have run out of Cholorx wipes, if you can please donate one we will greatly appreciate it.
- Kindergarten Registration is now Open! Scholarships Available! If you have any questions regarding Kindergarten please let me know. If you have any questions regarding registration or scholarships please call Ms. Alba at the school office.
- Touring Tuesdays. New parents can set up a Zoom meeting with Ms. Alba or Mrs. McGarry to visit our school through Zoom. Virtual Tour is also available in our school website.
- Please remember to have your child complete all their SeeSaw assignments.

This week the children will be learning the following:
Religion - Children will learn different ways to protect nature.
Reading - Children will listen and respond to "Tug of War."
Phonemic Awareness - Children will learn letter sounds /r/ and /s/.
Phonics - Children will identify uppercase and lowercase Rr and Ss.
Math - Children will learn to use common objects as non-standard units of measurement for measuring length and height. Children will learn how to use a balance scale to measure weight.
Science - Children will learn about the plant life cycle.
Social Studies - Children will learn how they can help to keep the environment clean. Children will celebrate Earth Day.
