Note to Parents

- SNOW STORM TOMORROW, SCHOOL WILL BE CLOSED TOMORROW!

- On Friday, December 18th we will have our class Christmas Party if you can send $5. to buy pizza, cupcakes, juice and other treats I will greatly appreciate it.  

- On Friday, December 18th, no uniform children are allowed to wear their party/play clothes and wear something red or green. 

- Friday, December 18th Early Dismissal 2:00pm.

Homework - Tuesday, 12/15/20

Handwriting - Complete worksheet trace and write uppercase and lowercase Gg. 

Phonics - Complete worksheet draw a line to match the letter to the beginning sound of each picture.

Homework - Monday, 12/14/20

Science Workbook - Complete pgs. 43 - 44 Circle the name of the season each picture shows.  Complete pgs. 45 - 46 Circle the picture that show day and draw a picture of the night sky. 

Note to Parents -  I have sent home a sheet explaining step by step how to log into the new online program we will be working with called "Seesaw."  Over the Christmas break I will be giving assignments to complete at home.  If you have any questions please email me at msrodriguez@olqmnyc.org.

Week of 12/14/20 - 12/18/20

News of the Week

- Please make sure your child's immunization record is up to date in the office and that your child has received the flu shot.  All Pre-K students must have the flu shot by December 31st.  Under New York State Law they will not be able to return to school on January 4th if they have not received their flu shot. 

- Over the Christmas Break I will not be assigning any homework.  However, I will be assigning some activities for the children to do online on our new program "Seesaw."  Tomorrow I will be sending you all the information you need to help your child log in and complete the assignments. If you have any questions please email me at msrodriguez@olqmnyc.org.

Phonemic Awareness - Children will learn letter sounds /g/ and /h/. 

Phonics - Children will identify uppercase and lowercase Gg and Hh. 

Math - Children will identify and write number 8.  Children will decompose and compose number 8.  

Science: Children will learn about daytime and nighttime.
