News of the Week  

Welcome Back to School!
- Individual Picture Day will be Tuesday, May 7th. 

- Muffins with Mom has been changed to Thursday, May 9th at 9:00am.

This Week Children will be learning the following:

- Religion: Children will learn about God's gift of the life cycle of all living things. 

- Phonemic Awareness: Children will identify words with beginning sound /u/. 

- Phonics: Children will identify uppercase and lowercase letter Uu.
- Reading: Children will listen and respond to the story, "Peter and the Wolf."

- Sight Words: Children will learn to identify and read the words "run" and "said."

- Math: Children will begin to solve word problems by adding. 
- Science: Children will learn about the life cycle of a plant.  Children will plant flower seeds.  
- Social Studies: Children will learn about plant habitats.
