News of the Week
- Tomorrow Feb. 13th Early Dismissal 12 noon - Faculty Meeting
- Tuesday, Feb. 14th is Red Day children are allowed to wear something red to school and no uniform.
- Tuesday, Feb. 14th we also want to have a Valentine's Day party for the children in the afternoon so if you can please donate $5. by tomorrow for McDonald's and other treats I will greatly appreciate your help.
- Friday, Feb. 17th School Closed - Religion Conference Day for Teachers.
- Monday, Feb. 20th School Closed in observance of President's Day.
This Week Children will be Learning the Following:
Religion: Children will understand the importance of sharing God's love. Children will retell the story of St. Valentine.
Reading: Children will retell a story in sequence order.
Phonics: Children will identify uppercase and lowercase "Ff" and "Xx."
Phonemic Awareness: Children will identify beginning sounds /f/ and /x/. Children will repeat a sequence of words.
Math: Children will identify and write the number 9 and 10. Children will compose and decompose the number 9. Children will learn how to make tally marks.
Social Studies: Children will listen to stories about the life of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln during story time throughout this week.
