- Tuesday, Dec. 15th Holiday Assembly at 9am, all parents invited. I am asking all the children to wear something red or green. Girls can wear a red or green shirt with a black skirt or pants. Girls can also wear a red or green dress. Boys can wear a red or green shirt with black pants.
- Friday, Dec. 18th we will have a class Christmas Party for the children, if you can please donate $5. for McDonalds and other treats for the children I will greatly appreciate your help.
- Friday, Dec. 18th Festival of Lessons and Carols at the Church, all parents are invited. Children are to wear something red or green again.
Math: Children will identify 3D shapes. Children will identify which 3D shapes roll, stack or slide.
Reading: Children will listen and respond to the story "The Gingerbread Boy," "The Gingerbread Girl," and "Gingerbread Friends." Children will retell the stories in sequence order. Children will identify and compare story characters. Children will compare and contrast both stories.
Religion: Children will learn about the Christmas story.
Art: Children will use water colors to create their favorite Christmas tradition with their family.
Social Studies: Children will create Santa and Reindeer Christmas cards for their families.
Science: Children will use different materials to decorate gingerbread cookies.
Music and Movement: Children will learn the songs, "Jingle Bells," and "Santa Claus is Coming to Town."

- Shapes: Identify and construct 2D shapes: triangles, squares, rectangles and circles.
Identify 3D shapes: cone, cylinder, sphere, cube, rectangular prism, and pyramid.
