The children are going to be happy when they find out that I will be allowing them to bring in their transportation toys to school this week, especially my boys. They can bring in any toy that is a form of transportation but please make sure that they are small objects. For example, if the toy is longer than the size of a banana, do not have your child bring that one to school. They can bring any toy that is a truck, van, car, airplane, train, sailboat, ship, bicycle etc... If your child does not own any of these, I will provide them with one to participate in the activities.

- If anyone is missing a gray sweater without a name it was left behind on Thursday, we placed it on the side closet to be claimed by owner.
- I would like to remind all parents that if your running behind schedule in the morning after 8:00 am and we have begun morning routines please drop off your child at the door. Mrs. Rosa or Mrs. Velez will help your child get settled in and put all their belongings away. As you know at this age the children have a very short attention span and it is very difficult to get them back on track when they are interrupted. I will greatly appreciate your help with this matter.

Supply List 2014 - 2015
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Welcome to Pre-K 4! I would like to take this time to introduce myself. My name is Elizabeth Rodriguez. I am beginning my fifteenth year as an early childhood educator and for the last ten years I have been working within the Catholic Schools of the Archdiocese of New York. This will be my fifth year at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs School and I am committed to providing a solid, well-rounded, academic program, in a caring, nurturing environment for your child. As parents I understand the high expectations you have of me as your child’s teacher, but as your child’s teacher I also have high expectations of all my parents and together we will work to help your child achieve their highest potential. I welcome you and your child and I look forward to an extremely exciting new school year!
Please find attached the needed supplies for this school year. Before school starts we will meet on Parent Night and I will discuss with you our class regulations, curriculum, schedule, and answer any questions or concerns you might have. I will also continue to provide any important information through this blog throughout the entire school year. Enjoy the remainder of this wonderful summer season!
Sincerely,
Ms. Rodriguez
