- Friday, March 31th we will have our Easter Party.  Please send $5. for pizza, juice and other treats. Thank you. On Friday children are allowed to wear their Easter best to school, no uniform. 

- School will resume April 17th, 2023

This week the children will be learning the following: 

Religion:  Children will learn the Easter story. 

Reading:: Children will listen and respond to the story "The City Mouse and the Country Mouse."

Phonics: Children will identify uppercase and lowercase Oo. 

Phonemic Awareness: Children will identify beginning short vowel and long vowel sound  for "o."   Children will continue blending CVC words. 

Math:  Children will identify the numbers 12 and 13 and count for groups of 12 and 13. 

Science:  Children will continue to learn about how matter changes.  

Sight Words (4yr. old Group): Children will learn to read and write the sight word "make." 

Review:  4yr. old children should be reviewing the following sight words everyday at home: a, and, away, big, blue, can, come, down, find, for, funny, go, help, here, I, in, is, it, jump, little, look.

- Friday, March 31st we will have a class Easter Party if you can please donate $5. for pizza, juice and treats.  We will appreciate it.  On this day children are allowed to wear their Easter best to school. 

- Please make sure your child wears their mask to school as we are running out of disposable mask.  We have also run out of Baby Wipes if you can please donate a pack, we will greatly appreciate it.  Thank You.

Math - Use donuts to measure the length and width of objects.  After you count how many donuts long or wide the object is, show that amount of red counters on the ten frame.

- Tomorrow is National Barbie Day, girls are allowed to dress up as Barbie and boys like Ken.  This is optional there will not be a costume contest.

- Friday is National Mario Bros. Day, children can dress up as any of the characters.  This is also optional there will not be a costume contest.

- Thursday, March 9th is National Barbie Day.  Girls are allowed to dress up like "Barbie" and boys can dress up like "Ken."  This is optional, there will not be a costume contest.

- Friday, March 10th s National Mario Brothers Day, children are allowed to dress up again as a one of the characters from Mario Brothers.  This is also optional, there will not be a costume contest.
