Religion - Children will learn about the Advent season. 

Reading - Children will listen and respond to the story "The Elves and the Shoemaker."

Phonemic Awareness - Children will learn letter sounds /g/ and /h/. 

Phonics - Children will identify uppercase and lowercase Gg and Hh. 

Math - Children will identify numbers 6 and 7. Children will count to 6 and 7 in array configurations.

Science - Children will identify different forms of weather. 

Social Studies: Children will create a Christmas family tree.

Week of 11/23/20 - 11/27/20

 News of the Week 

- Tomorrow, Monday, Nov. 23rd please make sure all children are in full uniform as our class will be filmed tomorrow for the school website.   

- Tuesday, Nov. 24th Gregorio will be celebrating his birthday with his classmates and his parents will be sending pizza and other treats.  No need to send lunch on Tuesday. 

- Wednesday, Nov. 25th we will like to have a little Thanksgiving celebration with the children and I am asking for $5. to order McDonald's for them. 

- Wednesday, Nov. 25th Early Dismissal at 2:00pm.

- Thursday, Nov. 26th and Friday, Nov. 27th School Closed for Thanksgiving Break.

- Wednesday, Nov. 18th is Mickey Mouse's Birthday.  Children are allowed to dress up as Mickey or Minnie and their will be a classroom costume contest.  

- Friday, Nov. 20th NYC Dept. of Health will be reviewing all PreK classrooms and student records. Please make sure your child's immunization records are up to date in the school office.
