Pre-K 2 Supply List

Dear Parents,

Welcome to Pre-K 2!  I would like to take this time to introduce myself.  My name is Elizabeth Rodriguez.  I am beginning my 21^st year as an early childhood educator and for the last 16 years I have been working within the Catholic Schools of the Archdiocese of New York. This will be my 11^th year at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs School and I am committed to providing a solid, well-rounded, academic program, in a caring, nurturing environment for your child.  

If you have chosen to register your child into my class, I know that you value the importance of a high-quality early learning catholic education.  Pre-K will be one of the greatest milestones your child will reach. This important milestone will help guide your child and they will enter Kindergarten ready to learn.  It is also the most important foundation to prepare them to thrive in elementary school and beyond.

I know this school year will be a different kind of year, but I promise you all that I will care for your children and make sure they are safe as they learn the importance of social distancing.  With God’s protection He will see us all through this school year healthy and safe.

Please find attached the needed supplies for this school year.  I will meet with all parents via Zoom for our Parent/Teacher meeting before school starts to discuss with you our class regulations, curriculum, schedule, and answer any questions or concerns you might have.  I will also continue to provide any important information through this blog throughout the entire school year.  I look forward to meeting you all!

School Year 2020 - 2021

Supplies Needed:

1 Pre-K Notebook (Must be purchased at our school supply room)

1 Box of 24 Crayola Crayons

2 Large Pencils (highly recommend you purchase: Dixon My First Ticonderoga Pencil, #2) 

1 Pack of regular #2 pencils

1 Utility/Pencil Box  (Please make sure you purchase a pencil box and not the pouches)   

3 Glue sticks

1 Child size safety scissors

1 Art Smock

2 Packs of White Construction Paper

1 Sturdy Plastic Folder

4 Pocket Folders (Please purchase the folders in the following colors: 1 red, 1 blue, 1 yellow, 1 green)

1  Box of Hefty Ziploc Jumbo Bags with Zipper - Size 2.5 gallons or 3 gallons

3 Boxes of Tissues

3 Paper Towel Rolls

3 Packs of Baby Wipes

3 Containers of Antibacterial Wipes

2  Bottles of Disinfecting Sprays

3 Hand Sanitizers

1 Set of Extra Clothes – Make sure to include shirt, pants, underwear, socks, and 2 extra facial masks.  PLEASE BRING CLOTHES IN A PLASTIC ZIPLOC BAG AND LABEL ALL CLOTHING ITEMS AND THE ZIPLOC BAG WITH CHILD’S NAME
