Week of 11/25/19 - 11/29/19

News of the Week    
- Our Thanksgiving Music Presentation will be Tuesday at 9:00am in the auditorium. Children are to wear their Sunday Best, No Uniform. 

- Thanksgiving food drive will continue until Tuesday, we are collecting cans for St. Patrick Outreach Program. Please, please help as much as possible! Thank You!

- We are collecting $5. for our Thanksgiving Party on Wednesday, Nov. 27th.  Thank you for your help and cooperation!  Children are allowed to wear their Sunday Best, No Uniform.

This week the children will be learning the following:
Religion -  Children will understand that Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks to God for all our gifts. 
Reading -  Children will listen and respond to the story "La Tortuga."  
Phonics - Children will identify uppercase and lowercase Ee and Ff.
Phonemic Awareness - Children will identify beginning sounds /e/ and /f/.  Children will identify rhyming words.  
Sight Words - Children will learn to identify and read the sight word "come." 
Math -  Children will identify and sort 3D shapes.  Children will identify which 3D shapes can stack, slide or roll.
Science - Children will learn about different forms of weather.  Children will create clouds in a bottle.

- Tomorrow Early Dismissal 12 Noon.  Parent/Teacher Conferences will begin at 1:00pm - 6:00pm.

Week of 11/18/19 - 11/22/19

News of the Week    
- Tomorrow, Nov. 18th is Mickey and Minnie Mouse's Birthday, children are allowed to come to school dressed up as Mickey or Minnie, no uniform tomorrow.

- Friday, Nov. 22nd Early Dismissal 12 Noon for Parent/Teacher Conference Meetings.  Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held from 1:00pm - 6:00pm in our classroom. 
If your child is enrolled in the Afterschool Program please remember it will end at 6:00pm on Friday, Nov. 22nd.

- Our annual Thanksgiving food drive has begun and we are collecting cans for St. Patrick Outreach Program. We will be collecting cans until next Tuesday, please help as much as possible.  Thank you! 

- We are collecting $5. for our Thanksgiving Party next Wednesday, Nov. 27th.  Thank you for your help and cooperation!

- Our annual food drive has begun and we are collecting cans for St. Patrick Outreach Program. 

- I want to remind all parents that breakfast is not allowed after 8:00am in the classroom.  I also want to remind parents that you are to drop off your child at the door in the morning and one of the teachers will assist your child if needed.  

- The sleeping mats are stored in your child's cubbies, feel free to take them home to wash whenever your please but please remember to return the following school day.
