News of the Week:
- Tomorrow Monday, Sept 25th Early Dismissal 12 noon - Faculty Meeting.
- As I explained in the Parent meeting, children are to be dropped off at the door to one of the classroom Aides in the morning, parents are not allowed in the classroom. If your child is being dropped off early before 8:00am the Aides will help your child with their breakfast. We will begin prayers and pledge of allegiance promptly at 8:00am, breakfast is not allowed in the classroom after 8:00am.
This Week Children will be learning the following:
- Religion: Children will learn about being good helpers. Children will learn that God loves and cares for us through others.
- Science: Children will learn about their five senses.
- Phonemic Awareness: Children will identify initial sound /k/.
- Phonics: Children will identify uppercase and lowercase Cc.
- Reading Comprehension: Children will listen and respond to a poem. Children will follow oral directions.
- Writing: Children will write uppercase C.
- Math: Children will continue learning about sorting.
- Social Studies: Children will learn that all people have rights, roles and responsibilities.

- Please bring in signed forms and 2 emergency cards in by tomorrow. These forms were due on Thursday and I am still waiting on some parents.
- As I explained in the Parent meeting, children are to be dropped off at the door to one of the classroom Aides in the morning, parents are not allowed in the classroom. If your child is being dropped off early before 8:00am the Aides will help your child with their breakfast. - All supplies must be in by tomorrow, please remember to bring 2 reams of printer paper.
- As I explained last Wednesday in the Parent meeting, children are to be dropped off at the door to one of the classroom Aides in the morning, parents are not allowed in the classroom. - I want to thank everyone for your cooperation the first two days of school, we had a very successful first day of school and with God's help we will have a super successful school year. Any questions or concerns please see me in the morning. Once again thank you all!

- Math: Children will match two objects that are the same, but identify what makes the objects slightly different.
- Social Studies: Children will understand how our similarities and differences make us unique and special.

Dear Parents,
Welcome to Pre-K2 we had a very successful first day of school. In the coming weeks the children will get accustomed to our daily routines and rules. I want to take this moment to congratulate all the parents for registering your child in our Pre-K 4 year old program because I know that you value catholic school education and value the importance of an academic program that reinforces skills in several ways. I look forward to an excellent school year!
Homework assignments will begin Monday. Please remember to bring in all signed forms and emergency cards by tomorrow. Thank You!
