Math Workbook - Complete pg. 43 and 44 identify plane shapes on solid shapes.

Reminder:
- Tomorrow Lessons and Carols 8:30am in the Church. The children will be singing a song and we will be showing the video of "The First Christmas" play we made last week along with PK1.  All parents welcome to join us.
Please remember children are to wear dress up clothes and wear something red or green. NO JEANS and NO SNEAKERS.

Christmas Break Homework:
Over the Christmas break please remember to review all Sight Words, Color Words and Number Words one - five that are posted on the blog. Also, please practice using scissors and cutting along a line and if your child has not mastered writing their name please practice writing first and last names.

Handwriting - Write uppercase and lowercase Ll 5x's each in the notebook.

Phonics - Have your child independently draw a picture with beginning sound /l/. Help your child label the picture.

Week of 12/18/16 - 12/21/16

News of the Week 
- Wednesday, Dec. 21st we will have Lessons and Carols in the Church  at 8:30am, all parents are welcome to join us.
Children are to dress up and wear something red or green.  No jeans or sneakers.

- Christmas Class Party will also be Wednesday, December 21st. I will be purchasing lunch and snack for the children with the $5. you donated.  Children do not need to bring snack to school on this day. However, if you would like to bring a bag of Christmas candy or Christmas chocolate for the children to share with their classmates that would be great.

- Last day of school before Christmas Recess will be Wednesday, Dec. 21st until 3pm.  After-School Program will be available. School will resume Tuesday, January 3, 2017.

Unfortunately, this morning we had technological difficulties with the wiring for the projector and the video was cut short because the laptop we utilized froze.  We will attempt to play the Christmas video again after Lessons and Carols in Church on Dec. 21st.  I will also post it on the blog on the 21st for your viewing at home.

If your child does not own a turtleneck shirt the girls can just wear a white blouse and the boys a green shirt. Please do not drive yourselves crazy looking for turtlenecks.
