News of the Week
- Friday, Oct. 2nd Early Dismissal for Faculty Meeting.
- Friday, Oct. 2nd Mass at 9am of St. Francis of Assisi. Children are allowed to bring their pets to receive a blessing. Cats and dogs must go home after the mass because of allergies.
- Gym uniforms are to be worn every Thursday.
- Remember to check this blog after 3pm everyday for daily homework assignments.
- I want to remind all parents as I explained during our Parent Orientation Meeting, that in the morning you are to drop off your child and sign them in. Parents are not allowed in the classroom in the morning, if your child is an early drop-off Mrs. Rosa and Mrs. Gomez will assist them with their breakfast. Children should also bring in their homework folders and place them in the blue homework box independently. Thank you all for your help and cooperation!

- This week we will finalize our unit on "All About Me" and work on a mini unit on "Fall Season."
- As the children have been learning about sorting, provide opportunities in which they can help "sort" different objects around the house.
- Encourage children to touch and count groups of objects to 3.
- Children should continue to work on drawing themselves from head to toe and naming body parts.
- Practice identifying and writing their names.
- Review Identifying:
Letters of the Week: Mm, Tt, Rr and Ss.

- Tomorrow children do not need to bring a snack to school if they will be leaving at noon. We will be following the half a day schedule and we will not have snack time, only lunch in the cafeteria.
