Week of 10/1/12 - 10/5/12

News of the Week 
-  Children will be assessed on basic Math skills of position words and sorting on Friday, Oct. 5th.  They will listen for oral directions and use pictures to identify the correct response.
- Reminder that Gym is on Thursday, children must wear their complete gym uniforms.
- If you have not brought in an Art Smock or old Adult T-shirt for your child to use during Art Class, please do so by Wednesday.  We have Art Class every Thursday.
-  Please remember to label all clothing items with your child's name; jackets, sweaters, umbrellas etc...
-  Remember that attendance is taken promptly at 8am if your child is not in the class they will be marked absent or late.  If your child is absent remember to bring a note the following day.

Writing - Children are learning to write their full names.  Please guide your child and help them write their names 3x's in their notebooks.  If they cannot write it 3x's, just allow them to do the best they can and practice every day at home.

News of the Week
- Book Fair began today and will end Friday.  Please support our fair, you may send money in an envelope with your child's name and I will help them choose the books OR you can send me a list of the books you would like to purchase with the money in an envelope.
- Please make sure your children are wearing their complete uniform every day.  Gym is on Thursdays, children must wear their school gym uniform and sneakers.
