Week of 6/19/23 - 6/23/23

 News of the Week 

- Children are allowed to wear dress down clothes Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. 

- Friday, June 23red is the last day of school and  dismissal is at 12 Noon.  Students must be in full school uniform.

To all my wonderful parents and children, 

Thank you for such a memorable school year.  I know this transition is a very difficult one for us all but I just want to wish you all many blessings as you move on to your new schools.  I will greatly miss you all! Have a wonderful summer!

Note to Parents

- Friday, June 16th at 9:30am we will be live through Zoom to sing a Father's Day song to all the Dad's.  Dad's please log into our Zoom at 9:30am ID# 383 394 9505 Passcode# 387748.

- Friday, June 16th we will attend the end of year Mass and 8th Grade Graduation at 10:00am.  All children must be in full school uniform. 

- Monday, June 19th School Closed.

Week of 6/12/23 - 6/16/23

  News of the Week .

- Friday, June 16th we will attend the end of year Mass and 8th Grade Graduation at 10:00am.  All children must be in full school uniform. 

- Monday, June 19th School Closed.  

- Our last day of school is June 23rd and report cards will be sent home on that day. 


This week the children will be learning the following: 

Religion:  Children will discuss all the things they are thankful for about completing Pre-K.

Reading:: Children will listen and respond to the story "ABC Book."

Phonics: Children will identify uppercase and lowercase letters Yy and Zz.

Phonemic Awareness: Children will identify beginning sounds /y/ and /z/. Children will continue blending CVC words. 

Math:   Children will review addition and subtraction. 

Review:  4yr. old children should be reviewing the following sight words everyday at home: a, and, away, big, blue, can, come, down, find, for, funny, go, help, here, I, in, is, it, jump, little, look, make, me, my, not, one, play, red, run, said, see, the, to, up, we, where, yellow, you.

Week of 6/5/23 - 6/9/23

 News of the Week .

- Our Moving-Up Ceremony will be Thursday, June 8th at 11:00am.  Children are to wear the following: Boys with floral Hawaiian summer shirt with khaki shorts and Girls with floral summer dress.  On June 8th children are to arrive to the classroom at 10:00am.  If you have any questions please let me know. 

- Our last day of school is June 23rd and report cards will be sent home on that day.

Math:   Children will continue learning about subtraction. 

Sight Words (4yr. old Group): Children will learn to read and write the sight words "yellow" and "you."


Review:  4yr. old children should be reviewing the following sight words everyday at home: a, and, away, big, blue, can, come, down, find, for, funny, go, help, here, I, in, is, it, jump, little, look, make, me, my, not, one, play, red, run, said, see, the, to, up, we, where.
