News of the Week
-Friday, January 13th Early Dismissal 12 Noon- Faculty Meeting. After-School Program will be available.
- Please remember to return your child's sleeping mat back to school tomorrow.
- Parents of my four year old group please review sight words and letter sounds everyday with your child.
This week the children will be learning the following:
Religion: Children will learn about God's gift of animals and the Bible story of Noah's Ark.
Reading: Children will listen and respond to the story "Jingles, Poems and Rhymes."
Math: Children will identify number 9. Children will decompose and compose 8.
Social Studies: Children will learn about the life of Martin Luther King Jr.
Science: Children will learn how snow is formed.
Sight Words (4yr. old Group): Children will learn to read and write the sight word "go"
Review: 4yr. old children should be reviewing the following sight words everyday at home: a, and, away, big, blue, can, come, down, find, for, funny.
