Assignments for Tuesday, June 9, 2020

News of the Week
- Last day of Zoom class will be Thursday, June 18th.  On that day we will have one Zoom session at 11:00am for the entire class instead of small groups.  

- Friday, June 19th and Monday, June 22nd I will be having Parent Conferences through Zoom or Phone Conference.  I will be setting up a schedule so that I can accommodate your schedule to the best of my ability. 

- Please let me know if you still have not gone to the school to pick up your child's belongings so that I can inform Mr. Woods when you will be going.

Sight Words: Children will identify and read the word "you."  
Activity: Write the word "you" 3x's in the notebook.  


Religion: Children will understand why God wants his children to be good listeners?
Read Aloud: 

Discussion: 

- What are some of your favorite sounds?

- How do bats "see" with their ears?

- Why do you think God wants his children to be good listeners?

Math - Children will skip count by 5's. 
** Lesson will be done during our Zoom class. 

Phonics: Children will identify uppercase and lowercase Zz. 
Children will identify letter sound /z/.

Activity: Write uppercase and lowercase Zz 5x's each in the notebook.  Draw and label a picture with beginning sound /z/. 
  

Phonemic Awareness: Children will identify initial sounds.
