Assignments for Monday June 8, 2020

News of the Week
- Last day of Zoom class will be Thursday, June 18th.  On that day we will have one Zoom session at 11:00am for the entire class instead of small groups.  

- Friday, June 19th and Monday, June 22nd I will be having Parent Conferences through Zoom or Phone Conference.  I will be setting up a schedule so that I can accommodate your schedule to the best of my ability. 

- Please let me know if you still have not gone to the school to pick up your child's belongings so that I can inform Mr. Woods when you will be going.

Sight Words: Children will identify and read the word "you."  
Activity: Have your child use the word in a sentence.


Religion: Children will understand why God wants all of his creation to rest.
Read Aloud: 
Discussion: 
- How do otters open the shellfish that they love to eat?
- Where is your favorite place to sleep? What kinds of things do you sleep with?

Phonics: Children will identify uppercase and lowercase Zz. 
Children will identify letter sound /z/.

Phonemic Awareness: Children will identify letter sounds by singing a song and using American Sign Language to sign all the letters of the alphabet.
