News of the Week .
- Friday, May 26th and Monday, May 29th School Closed.
- Our Moving-Up Ceremony will be Thursday, June 8th at 11:00am. Children are to wear the following: Boys with floral Hawaiian summer shirt with khaki shorts and Girls with floral summer dress.
This week the children will be learning the following:
Religion: Children will learn about encouraging others and being patient.
Reading:: Children will listen and respond to the story "Peter and the Wolf."
Phonics: Children will identify uppercase and lowercase letters Vv and Ww.
Phonemic Awareness: Children will identify beginning sounds /v/ and /w/. Children will continue blending CVC words.
Math: Children will continue leaning about addition.
Sight Words (4yr. old Group): Children will learn to read and write the sight words "the" "to," and "up."
Review: 4yr. old children should be reviewing the following sight words everyday at home: a, and, away, big, blue, can, come, down, find, for, funny, go, help, here, I, in, is, it, jump, little, look, make, me, my, not, one, play, red, run, said, see.
