News of the Week .
Friday, May 5th Early Dismissal 12 Noon
- Our Moving-Up Ceremony will be June 8th at 11:00am. Children are to wear the following:: Boys with floral summer shirt with khaki shorts and Girls with floral summer dress.
This week the children will be learning the following:
Religion: Children will continue to learn about God's gift of the life cycle of all living things.
Reading:: Children will listen and respond to the story "The Tug of War."
Phonics: Children will identify uppercase and lowercase Rr.
Phonemic Awareness: Children will identify beginning sound /r/. Children will continue blending CVC words.
Math: Children will identify the numbers 16 - 18.
Science - Children will plant flower seeds.
Sight Words (4yr. old Group): Children will learn to read and write the sight words "not" and "one."
Review: 4yr. old children should be reviewing the following sight words everyday at home: a, and, away, big, blue, can, come, down, find, for, funny, go, help, here, I, in, is, it, jump, little, look, make, me, my
