News of the Week
- Tomorrow Monday, November 9th we will be celebrating Mariella's Birthday and her Mom will be sending Pizza for the children, no need to send in lunch tomorrow.
- Wednesday, Nov. 11th School Closed, Veterans Day.
- Friday, Nov. 13th Early Dismissal 12:00pm Parent/Teacher Conferences.
- Parent/Teacher Conferences on Friday, November 13th through Zoom from 1:00pm - 6:00pm. Please email me at msrodriguez@olqmnyc.org and let me know what time is best for you and I will let you know if that time frame is available.
- Wednesday, Nov. 18th we will be celebrating Mickey Mouse's Birthday children are allowed to wear a Mickey or Minnie costume and we will have a classroom costume contest.

Review Sight Words: a, and, away, big, can, come, down
Review Color Words: red, blue
Review Number Words: zero, one, two, three, four, five.
This week the children will be learning the following:
Religion - Children will learn about family traditions and why Jesus wants all family members to get along.
Reading - Children will listen and respond to the story "La Tortuga."
Phonemic Awareness - Children will learn letter sounds /e/ and /f/.
Phonics - Children will identify uppercase and lowercase Ee and Ff.
Math - Children will use 3D shapes to build a model.
Science - Children will learn about weather. Children will do a science experiment and create clouds in a bottle.
Social Studies - Children will understand why we remember all Veterans on November 11th.
