News of the Week
- Wednesday, Nov. 18th is Mickey Mouse's Birthday. Children are allowed to dress up as Mickey or Minnie and their will be a classroom costume contest.
- Friday, Nov. 20th NYC Dept. of Health will be reviewing all PreK classrooms and student records. Please make sure your child's immunization records are up to date in the school office.

Review Sight Words: a, and, away, big, can, come, down, find
Review Color Words: red, blue, yellow
Review Number Words: zero, one, two, three, four, five.
This week the children will be learning the following:
Religion - Children will understand why God places people in families. Children will learn the importance of being thankful.
Reading - Children will listen and respond to the story "La Tortuga."
Phonemic Awareness - Children will learn letter sounds /e/ and /f/.
Phonics - Children will identify uppercase and lowercase Ee and Ff.
Math - Children will sort 2D and 3D shapes. Children will identify and extend patterns.
Science - Children will learn about different forms of weather.
Social Studies: Children will learn about different kinds of family home jobs.
