News of the Week
- Friday, Nov. 6th Early Dismissal 11:00am, Teacher PD.
- We will have Parent/Teacher Conferences on Friday, November 13th through Zoom from 1:00pm - 6:00pm. Please email me and let me know what time is best for you and I will let you know if that time frame is available.
- I want to remind all parents of remote learners to please remember to upload homework assignments to Google classroom so I can review the completed assignments and check your child's progress.
Review Letters and Letter Sounds for: Aa, Bb, Cc, Dd, Ee, Ff
Review Sight Words: a, and, away, big, can, come
Review Color Words: red, blue
Review Number Words: zero, one, two, three, four, five.
This week the children will be learning the following:
Religion - Children will learn that God's love comes to us through our families.
Reading - Children will listen and respond to the story "La Tortuga."
Phonemic Awareness - Children will learn letter sounds /e/ and /f/.
Phonics - Children will identify uppercase and lowercase Ee and Ff.
Math - Children will identify and sort 3D shapes. Children will match solid shapes to their two-dimensional faces.
Science - Children will experiment with Halloween candy corns and observe which will sink or float in different liquids and which will dissolve the fastest in the different liquids.
Social Studies: Children will learn about different kinds of families.
