- Tuesday, Feb. 11th Valentine's Day Music Presentation at 10:00am in the auditorium. Children are to dress up and wear something red or pink.
- Wednesday, Feb. 12th Valentine's Day Party for the children. If you can please donate $5. for pizza and other treats we will greatly appreciate it. Children are allowed to wear dress down clothes and if they want to they can wear something red or pink.
- Thursday, Feb. 13th School Closed - Teacher Conference Day.
Friday, Feb. 14th School Closed - St. Valentine Day
Monday, Feb. 17th School Closed - President's Day
- Registration is open for Kindergarten. Please see Ms. Alba for more information. Re-registration will open tomorrow for all other grade levels as well.
Religion - Children will understand God always wants us to do the right thing.
Reading - Children will listen and respond to the story "The Nightingale."
Phonics - Children will identify uppercase and lowercase letter Mm.
Phonemic Awareness - Children will identify beginning sound /m/. Children will identify rhyming words. Children will begin to blend letter sounds together.
Sight Words - Children will learn to identify and read the sight word "is" and "it."
Math - Children will identify number 9. Children will compose and decompose 9.
Social Studies - Children will learn about President's Day. During story time this week children will listen to stories about the life of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.
Science - Children will learn about crystal formation.
