Welcome Back to School!
This Week Children will be learning the following:
- Religion: Children will learn about God's gift of all living things.
- Science: Children will learn about the parts of a plant. Children will plant flower seeds and lima beans.
- Phonemic Awareness: Children will identify letter sound /u/.
- Phonics: Children will identify uppercase and lowercase Uu.
- Reading Comprehension: Children will identify cause and effect in a story.
- Math: Children will identify the difference between 3D shapes and flat shapes. Children will identify the amount of sides and corners in a shape.
- Social Studies: Children will identify physical characteristics of places such as mountains, rivers, etc... Children will also identify physical characteristics of their communities.
