News of the Week:
- Tuesday, Nov, 7th Picture Day. Children are to wear their full uniform or dress up clothes (no gym uniform tomorrow). Pictures will be taken only for children who have given Mrs. Resto the envelope money. If your child will not be taking photos please let me know in the morning.
- School Closed Friday, Nov. 10th for Veteran's Day.
- We are collecting canned goods for our Thanksgiving Food Drive. If you can please donate as many cans as possible we will greatly appreciate it.
- Mickey and Minnie Mouse Day will be next Friday, Nov. 17th children are allowed to dress up as one of the characters.
This Week Children will be learning the following:
- Religion: Children will learn about God's gift of light. Children will learn about God's gift of our families.
- Science: Children will learn about weather and seasons.
- Phonemic Awareness: Children will identify initial sound /a/.
- Phonics: Children will identify uppercase A.
- Reading Comprehension: Children will draw conclusions from pictures.
- Math: Children will continue learning about position words.
- Social Studies: Children will learn about Veterans Day.
