News of the Week:
- Thursday, Oct. 12th we will have our Hispanic Heritage Presentation at 9:00am in the auditorium. Children are to wear dress up clothes. Girls: Dresses or skirts with blouse. Boys: Dress pants with shirt. All parents are invited.
- Friday, Oct. 13th Fire Prevention Week Presentation for the children in auditorium at 9:00am.
This Week Children will be learning the following:
- Religion: Children will learn about God's gift of water.
- Science: Children will continue learning about their five senses.
- Phonemic Awareness: Children will identify initial sound /o/.
- Phonics: Children will identify uppercase and lowercase Oo.
- Reading Comprehension: Children will draw conclusions from pictures. Children will identify features of informational texts.
- Writing: Children will write uppercase O and lowercase o.
- Math: Children will continue learning about sorting.
- Social Studies: Children will learn about the role of firefighters. Children will learn about fire prevention.
