News of the Week
- Pre-K Parent Workshop will be Tuesday, January 24th at 8:00am in the school library across from our classroom. The workshop will focus on "Who's the Boss," and the presenter will be Ms. Annette Castro. All parents are urged to attend.
- This week children will be learning the following:
Religion: Children will learn about God's gift of people.
Reading: Children will use position words to identify story details.
Phonics: Children will identify uppercase and lowercase Bb.
Phonemic Awareness: Children will identify beginning sound /b/. Children will also identify words in a sentence.
Math: Children will decompose and compose numbers 6 and 7.
Science Lab: Children will participate in an "Ice Cube Experiment."
Social Studies and Science: Children will continue to learn about different kinds of animals, animal body parts and animal habitats.

- Mm, Tt, Rr, Ss, Cc, Pp, Aa, Nn, Dd, Ll, Gg, Ii, and Bb.
Sight Words of the Week for Review
- I, my, the, and, a, see, can, go, in, look, to, little, big, jump, play, you.

- red, blue, yellow, green, purple
