Reminders:
- Tomorrow is "Hippy Day" no uniform tomorrow. Children may wear their "Tie Dye" shirts, jeans and any Hippie accessories you would like to add to their outfits. Their will be a costume contest.
- This week I will be adding new decodable books to their Reading Bags; continue reading daily and review dolch words stapled in their homework notebooks.
- Also, this week we will be learning about the Changes in the Human Body in Science; I would like all the children to bring in a baby picture by Wednesday.
Vocabulary Words of the Week
1. corner (vertex) - the place where two sides meet.
2. plane figures - a closed flat shape.
3. solid figure - shapes that are not flat.
4. strong - powerful
5. each - one separate from another.
6. great - much better than usual.
7. other - different, not this.
8. healthy - keeping your body and brain well.
9. bones - the skeleton of your body that grows and helps you get taller.
10. muscles - help you move the bones and parts of your body.
