News of the Week
- Wednesday, November 6th School Closed, Conference Day.
- Our annual food drive has begun and we are collecting cans for St. Patrick Outreach Program.
- I want to remind all parents that breakfast is not allowed after 8:00am in the classroom. I also want to remind parents that you are to drop off your child at the door in the morning and one of the teachers will assist your child if needed.
- The sleeping mats are stored in your child's cubbies, feel free to take them home to wash whenever your please but please remember to return the following school day.
This week the children will be learning the following:
Religion - Children will learn that God's love comes through our families.
Reading - Children will listen and respond to the story "La Tortuga."
Phonics - Children will identify uppercase and lowercase Ee and Ff.
Phonemic Awareness - Children will identify beginning sounds /e/ and /f/. Children will identify beginning sounds in words.
Sight Words - Children will learn to identify and read the sight word "can" and the color word "yellow."
Math - Children will identify and sort 2D shapes.
Science - Children will use their sense of smell to identify objects.
Social Studies - Children will learn about different kinds of families.
