Week of 9/10/18 - 9/14/18

Dear Parents,
I want to thank everyone for your cooperation as we get settled into our new school year.  The first two days were very successful and I have great faith that the entire year will be phenomenal.  I want to remind all parents that all forms and 2 emergency cards are due tomorrow Monday, Sept. 9th, make sure that you have completed all the forms that were included in the burgundy folder I gave you during our Parent Meeting on Wednesday evening.  Also, make sure that all supplies are labeled, we have a bag of supplies in the classroom without a name, please see me in the morning and let me know which student it belongs to.
I want to also inform all parents to please make sure not to include any food items in your child's snack or lunch with peanuts or any other type of nuts as we have students in our class that are severely allergic.
Tomorrow we will also be welcoming Mr. Eric as a new Teacher Aide in our classroom.  Mr. Eric is the director of the After School Program and worked with the Summer Camp this past summer, he is wonderful with children and Mrs. Gomez and myself are excited to welcome him as part of our class team.  If you are interested in the After School Program you may see Mr. Eric to enroll as the program will begin tomorrow, Monday, Sept. 9th.  Also, I want to remind everyone to always check my class blog for daily homework assignments or class news.
Have a wonderful week!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Rodriguez
